Who runs Stay Casino and which license covers Canada
Canadian visitors see different terms and a different license from everyone else.
An Anjouan permit for Canada, Tobique for everyone else
The footer data carries two versions. Visitors from Canada (and from India and Zimbabwe) are told that Metlait SRL holds Anjouan license ALSI-202509073-FI2; everyone else sees Tobique Gaming Commission license 0000064 under the same company. Canadian visitors are the only ones shown the Anjouan seal. From a Toronto connection it appeared in the footer, and the validator behind it names Metlait SRL, lists staycasino.com as the registered website and gives the operating status as VALID. The regulator’s public register agrees, with one date to watch: the record runs from 30 September 2025 to 29 September 2026, so check that it has been renewed after that day.
From Hollycorn to Metlait
An older copy of the terms still served by the site’s content system names Hollycorn N.V., a Curaçao company with its own active Curaçao permit, together with a Cyprus payment agent. The current terms, effective from 8 April 2026, name only Metlait SRL, registered in Cartago, Costa Rica. That makes Stay Casino a sister site of Lucky7even and of Richard Casino, which share the operator and the permit number. Anjouan is one island of the Comoros, and its board gives a player little leverage in a dispute.
What outside ratings and the RNG record show
Our shortlist data recorded a Casino Guru Safety Index of 9.3 for the brand, while its Trustpilot page did not display a score. The terms name no testing laboratory and no RNG certificate, so fairness rests on the game studios’ own approvals rather than anything the casino publishes.
Canadian players and the two sets of terms
Canadian visitors get their own version of the terms and conditions on staycasino.com, and it names no Canadian province among restricted countries; Australia, the US, the UK and much of Europe are on that list instead. The Tobique version, hidden from Canadian visitors, bars Ontario and New Brunswick. We treat the site as available outside Ontario. If you live in New Brunswick, ask support in writing which edition of the terms governs your account. From our location the registration form did not offer Canada at all, which fits the same country-based switch.
Ontario is not covered here at all, and this is no Ontario review: the site is not on the iGaming Ontario register. The terms allow sign-ups from 18, which is below the gambling age in most provinces, so your provincial minimum is the one to respect. A dispute is handled under the operator’s rules and the small regulator’s process, so gamble only with money you could afford to have tied up for a while.
Stay Casino welcome bonus in CAD, with a mystery sixth step
New accounts collect the package in six steps across your first six deposits, with a C$30 minimum deposit for each step, and every cash part and free-spin result carries 40x wagering. Bonuses and spins must be activated within a day; the spins are then played within three days and the cash within seven. The amounts below are in CAD, taken from the bonus terms:

The five cash parts add up to C$4,000 and the spins to 350. The home page banner shown to Canadian visitors says $5,000 plus 350 free spins, as does the site’s own promotional text; neither matches the terms, so treat C$4,000 as the real ceiling of the Stay welcome bonus.
Where the value leaks
- Win cap: cash bonus winnings are limited to 10 times the bonus; free-spin winnings to C$140
- Max bet: C$8 per spin while wagering, bonus buys included
- Game weighting: slots 100%, but a long list of popular titles such as Book of Dead, Starburst and Big Bass Bonanza count 50%; table games, roulette and video poker 5%
- No live tables: you cannot play live dealer games while a bonus is active
Deposit exactly C$30 each time and the five cash steps pay C$120 between them. Reaching every cap takes deposits of roughly C$1,000, C$1,335, C$670, C$2,000 and C$500, about C$5,500 in all, and the resulting C$4,000 means C$160,000 of wagering before any of it is cash, more if you play the 50% slots. At C$30 a time the headline figure is out of reach; it only adds up for players depositing near each cap. The site’s own FAQ still says free spins are wager-free; the bonus terms, which we follow, set 40x on spin winnings too. The bonuses are non-sticky, meaning your real money is played first and you can take your deposit out before wagering by giving up the bonus. High rollers can switch to a separate high-deposit welcome package instead: 125% up to C$10,000 on each of five deposits from C$300–C$350, at 40x on cash and 30x on the spins.

The loyalty program has 14 levels, each split into sublevels, and hands out more than 6,700 free spins in total as you collect comp points from real-money bets. Stay’s VIP club is a separate track: a single deposit of €500 or more makes you an “Immediate VIP”, with a personal manager who, the site says, gets in touch within 24 hours. Club members also get a higher monthly withdrawal limit.

The KYC page warns that document reviews can take up to 30 working days once everything is submitted, and the terms add that winnings may be forfeited if requested documents are not provided within 40 days. The cashier lists its payment methods with no fee on any of them. Our first look, from outside Canada, quoted limits in euros; loaded from a Toronto connection in September 2026, the page switches to CAD, and the table below uses those figures.

In the euro version, the Interac deposit row showed a maximum of €40, apparently a typo; the Canadian page settles it at C$4,000. That euro version also listed Neteller, Paysafecard, CashToCode, Volt, Pay via Bank and crypto, so check which of them your own cashier shows. Cards and vouchers only pay in; if you make deposits with them, money comes back through Interac e-Transfer, an e-wallet or the bank, so those are your withdrawal options.
The 1x deposit rule and how much leaves per day
- Deposit: in the cashier, select any listed method, enter 20 $ or more (C$30 if you want the welcome part), then leave the bonus box on or off.
- Withdraw: play each deposit through once on slots (three times on other games), then request at least C$20 by Interac e-Transfer, e-wallet or bank.
The FAQ sets a 12-hour target for processing withdrawals. That is quick. The caps in the Canadian terms are higher than most in our other reviews:

If you deposit and do not bet at all, the terms let the casino recover its fees from the withdrawal. After six months without a log-in, the account is marked dormant and a monthly fee of at least €25 can be taken until the balance runs out.

The provider list in the lobby has 147 entries, from Pragmatic Play, BGaming, Play’n GO, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City and NetEnt to smaller studios such as Gamzix, 3 Oaks and Popiplay. The About page claims more than 8,000 games; we could not count the catalogue ourselves, so take that figure as the operator’s. Nothing has to be installed: staycasino.com runs in a phone or tablet browser, and the home page also offers an installable app. The bonus terms reward the Stay app with “Push Your Wins” free spins for installing it and enabling notifications, winnings capped at C$35, which is the only official detail we found. The site does not say which devices the app supports. It is optional: the mobile site in the browser carries the same game lobby.
Customer support: live chat around the clock, email for the rest
Help comes through live chat, described on the About page as available around the clock, plus email ([email protected]). Common questions about withdrawals, documents and bonuses are answered in a FAQ, and live chat is also where the FAQ sends you when your case does not fit. No phone number is published. Everything happens in writing: chat or email, and nothing on the fr-CA site says the agents answer in French. Deposit, loss and wager caps, cooling-off and exclusion
Deposit limits, loss caps and wager caps can be set by day, week or month; these gambling tools live in the account settings. A lower limit applies at once. A higher one needs confirmation by email and only starts when the current one runs out. A cooling-off period runs from one week to six months, and self-exclusion from six months to indefinitely.
