BluffBet Casino borrows its name from poker, and a fair question for any new online casino with a big headline number is whether the hand is as strong as it looks. The brand launched in 2024 under Throne Entertainment B.V. and pairs more than 3,000 games with a sports section, an English and a French-Canadian edition, and a welcome package that climbs to C$25,000 over five deposits. Its site answers our connections, including one from Toronto, with a “not accessible from your region” page, so we could not open the cashier or the house rules ourselves. What follows sets out the offer, the payments and the permit as they stand in September 2026, and the reasons some players have been unhappy.

BluffBet Casino review 2026: who should sit at this table

  • Good fit: players who want slots, crypto and sports betting under one login
  • Poor fit: anyone who wants the permit, the rules and the cashier in plain view before depositing
  • Watch out for: 100x on live games and player reports of a win cap on bonus play
  • Where: Canada outside Ontario

Throne Entertainment’s license, game fairness and a reputation pulling two ways

There is a real company and a real permit behind the brand. What is missing is the link between that permit and this domain in the regulator’s own records.

OGL/2024/1585/0822: the company is listed, the domain is not

BluffBet Casino is run by Throne Entertainment B.V., registered in Curaçao under company number 150615, and operates under Curaçao Gaming Authority license OGL/2024/1585/0822. The CGA register of 21 September 2026 lists that company, that number and a current term from 16 June to 16 December 2026. It does not list bluffbet.com, and the footer seal, which would lead to a certificate naming the domain, was behind the region block. So the license exists, but the register alone does not tie it to this site. Throne’s address differs between sources, so we leave it out.

Scores that point in two directions

The Safety Index at Casino Guru is 9.0, and AskGamblers rates the site 7.5 with three complaints, all resolved, about verification and a refused withdrawal. Trustpilot tells a different story: 2.9 from 28 reviews, with 61% one-star. The recent complaints follow two themes. In March 2026 players wrote that cashback and loyalty rewards were not credited, and an August 2026 review describes a limit on winnings from bonus play that the player had not seen before claiming. Neither is proof of wrongdoing, but both are reasons to read the bonus rules in full before you opt in.

Fairness and the unseen rulebook

The studios carry the fairness argument on their own, big names such as Evolution and Pragmatic Play whose games carry certificates from labs like GLI and iTech Labs; no audit of the casino itself is published. The house terms and conditions were behind the same block as the rest of the site, so we cannot quote a complaints procedure or an outside dispute body. That gap matters more than usual for a brand whose negative reviews are about rules players say they did not know.

On 24 September 2026 a Toronto connection got the same answer for every address on the domain we tried, from the home page to the help subdomains: a page in English and French saying the site is not accessible from your region. Whether that wall is built for Ontario or for data-centre connections, we cannot tell from here. Either way, Ontario runs a regulated iGaming market of its own, and an Ontario review is off the table here; this page is written for players in Canada outside that province.

No other province is named as excluded in anything we read. For this casino, Canada means CAD accounts and en-CA and fr-CA editions of the site. Most provinces set the legal age to gamble at 19, and that is the age to go by unless yours is lower. BluffBet also courts French-speaking Québec, though the support section below explains why French speakers should not count on French chat.

The BluffBet Casino welcome bonus and its falling match rate

For new players the package comes in parts across your first five deposits, each from a C$20 minimum deposit, and no promo code is needed. Each step is credited on the matching deposit:

DepositMatchUp toFree spinsDeposit needed for the full step
1st150%C$3,000300C$2,000
2nd100%C$3,000200C$3,000
3rd50%C$4,000200C$8,000
4th50%C$5,000200C$10,000
5th25%C$10,000100C$40,000

Each match bonus carries 40x wagering on slots and 100x if you play the bonus on live dealer games, and the free spins are worth C$0.20 each. Some exclusive versions, such as a 200% first-deposit deal, circulate through partner sites; they are not the standard offer and we leave them aside. The BluffBet welcome bonus looks generous on paper, but three of its rules are not settled: how many days you have to wager it (30 or 7), whether bonus winnings are capped (C$25,000 or unlimited), and the maximum bet while the bonus runs. Since the August complaint concerns exactly such a cap, put all three to live chat before the first deposit and keep the transcript; they are common questions, so a clear answer should not be hard to get.

C$63,000 in, C$25,000 on top

The right-hand column of the table is the one banners leave out. Because the match falls from 150% to 25%, collecting every step in full takes C$63,000 of deposits, and more than half of that goes into the fifth deposit alone. For almost everyone the realistic part of this generous welcome bonus is the first one or two steps.

What 150% on C$100 asks of you

Deposit C$100 and the first step adds C$150 in bonus funds plus 300 spins. Whether the 40x applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus is not settled either. On the bonus alone, that is C$6,000 of bets on a slot; on both, C$10,000. Play the same bonus on live tables at 100x and the bill runs to C$15,000 or more. Treat the package as five separate offers, and take only those you can clear.

BluffBet Casino offers week to week, and VIP rewards players say went missing

The regular schedule leans on deposits and slot play:

  • Daily free spins: up to 200 a day on Pragmatic Play slots, with deposits from C$30
  • Weekend reload: a match on Saturday and Sunday deposits, with its rate and cap stated two different ways
  • Wednesdays: a midweek bonus with the same problem, so read the current terms before you opt in

Above that sits a VIP program of eight levels, with cashback that grows with each tier. This is also where the March complaints land: cashback that players expected and did not see. If you reach a paying level, check your balance after each reward cycle and raise any gap with support straight away. The same advice holds for the reload: note the deposit, the bonus credited and the wagering shown, so a dispute has numbers behind it.

Account registration now, identity checks at the first withdrawal

Opening one is quick: sign up for an account by entering an email and a password; most personal details and verification come later. The site does not ask for documents up front, which gets you playing sooner but moves the checks to the moment you want your money.

  1. Open the en-ca pageOr the fr-ca edition, from a province outside Ontario
  2. Enter email and passwordAccept the rules after reading them
  3. Read the bonus rulesThen opt in to the first step, or skip the package
  4. DepositC$20 or more starts the first step of the package
  5. Verify before you need toSend the ID and address documents support asks for early, not after a win

KYC is required before any withdrawal, and documents are requested by support rather than uploaded in the profile. Only one listing gives a verification time, so we print none, and one of the three AskGamblers complaints was about exactly this stage.

Payment methods that pay back, and those that only pay in

The cashier mixes Canadian banking with digital coins, and all payment methods are free:

MethodDepositWithdrawal
Interac e-TransferC$10–C$2,500C$10–C$2,500
MuchBetter, MiFinity, JetonFrom C$10Yes
Visa, Mastercard, RevolutC$10–C$10,000No
Neosurf, FlexepinFrom C$5 (Neosurf)No
Bank transferNoYes, from C$10
BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, BinancePayFrom C$20From C$40

The casino also lists BinancePay beside the four coins. Cards and vouchers only fund the account, so the withdrawal options are the e-Transfer route, e-wallets, a bank transfer and crypto. The overall minimum deposit is quoted anywhere from C$3 to C$10 depending on the method, so we give C$10 by e-Transfer as the practical floor for Canadian players. Per-transaction caps for e-wallets, bank transfers and coins differ from one listing to the next, and no weekly or monthly withdrawal limit is published, so the C$2,500 ceiling on e-Transfer is the only payout cap we print.

Deposit steps, then a payout clock that runs from minutes to days

  1. Deposit: open the cashier or the Quick Deposit button, choose a bonus or none, pick a method and confirm.
  2. Withdraw: go to Withdrawal in your account, use a method you deposited with and request at least C$10.

Once an account is verified, withdrawals are handled within a day, and e-wallets can pay in under an hour. E-Transfer payouts take anything from ten minutes to two business days depending on the source, a spread wide enough that you should plan for the longer end. Bank transfers take a day or more. Deposits and withdrawals go back through the same method where possible, so make deposits with something that can also receive money; a voucher or a card leaves you choosing a second route at cash-out time.

The sportsbook: one account with the casino

BluffBet runs a betting side next to the casino, and the same account covers both, so a win at the tables can go straight onto a hockey bet, and the reverse.

What we cannot give you is a view of the markets. The sports pages sit behind the same region block, so we have no count of leagues, no odds to compare and no check of live betting or cash-out. If hockey or football is your main reason to join, open the sports tab from an eligible province and look at three things before you deposit: the hockey and football markets you actually use, the odds on a game you know well against another book, and the betting limits on the bet types you prefer.

What sets the casino game lobby apart: 16 Originals next to Hacksaw Gaming

More than 3,000 titles from over 30 studios fill it. Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming, Relax Gaming, Endorphina, Habanero and Yggdrasil are among the studios behind the slots you can play for real money. Table games cover roulette, blackjack, video poker and baccarat. The part of the menu made in-house is the 16 Originals, simple games such as Mines and Cross the Road that sit between crash games and table games. Players who judge high-quality games by the studio name will find familiar ones; the Originals are the part you will not find elsewhere.

For bonus players the slot is the only sensible choice, since table and live play clear the welcome much more slowly or not at all. Check each casino game’s RTP in its info panel before you commit money.

Live casino at 100x, run mostly by Pragmatic Live

Live dealer games at BluffBet Casino now come mainly from Pragmatic Live, with roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows such as Sweet Bonanza CandyLand. The lineup matters less than the bonus rule: live dealer play clears the welcome at 100x, two and a half times the slot rate. For live players, depositing without a bonus is usually the cleaner choice.

The same site on mobile devices, served in the mobile browser

Neither app store carries a BluffBet app, and the site offers no mobile app to download either. Mobile play happens in the phone’s browser, on a mobile site built for iOS and Android devices with the same cashier, bonuses and sports pages as on a computer. We could not load it ourselves because of the block, so we cannot report on speed or layout.

Customer support: a live chat without fixed hours, and one email address

Customer support at BluffBet runs through live chat and a Canadian email inbox, support-ca at the brand’s domain. The stated live chat hours vary between round the clock and 08:00 to 21:00 UTC, so we print no schedule and suggest email for anything you want on record. French-speaking agents are not promised, even with the fr-ca site.

Gambling tools on a closed site

The site’s own page on safer play was behind the block. The tools described for it are deposit limits, loss limits and bet limits, all set through support rather than from the account page, and self-exclusion works the same way; periods and cooling-off options are not spelled out in any listing. In a gaming environment where every limit goes through a person, ask for yours on day one. Helplines for each province are collected on our responsible gambling page.

Three casino reviews to weigh against BluffBet

  • SpinEmpire — our top pick; a Curaçao permit that matches its domain and a four-deposit welcome capped at C$3,000.
  • Stake — casino, coins and betting too, with a permit verified in the register and rakeback in place of a match.
  • Lucky Hills — the closest in shape, with sports betting and about 7,400 games, though it caps withdrawals at C$2,500 a week.

Every rated brand is ranked on our page of online casinos in Canada.

Call or fold on BluffBet

On the table, BluffBet’s hand looks strong: two-way e-Transfer, e-wallet and coin payouts, a betting side, 3,000+ games and a welcome bonus measured in tens of thousands. Face down are the cards that matter for trust. The permit belongs to a real company in the Curaçao register, yet the register does not list this domain; key bonus rules are unsettled; and a 2.9 player score comes with specific complaints about cashback and a win cap. Whether BluffBet is worth a deposit depends on how much of that uncertainty you are prepared to carry.

A careful approach: skip the welcome or take only the first step, fund the account with a method that pays back, verify early and withdraw regularly. A player who wants a permit tied to the domain, published rules and a fixed support schedule has better options above. Our rating method shows how the scores were set, and the about page introduces the team.

BluffBet Casino FAQs

Is it licensed?

Throne Entertainment B.V. holds the license, Curaçao number OGL/2024/1585/0822, current to 16 December 2026 in the CGA register. The register entry does not list the BluffBet domain.

What is on offer for new players?

A welcome bonus of up to C$25,000 and 1,000 free spins across five deposits, starting with 150% up to C$3,000 and 300 spins, from C$20 per deposit at 40x.

Does it take Interac?

Yes, both ways: deposits and withdrawals from C$10 to C$2,500 per transaction, with no fee.

Can I bet on sports?

You can. A sportsbook runs next to the casino on the same account; we could not see its markets or odds.

Why is the Trustpilot score low?

Of 28 reviews, 61% give one star. Recent ones report cashback and loyalty rewards not credited and a limit on bonus winnings that players had not expected.

Can I play from Ontario?

Not from what we saw. From a Toronto connection the whole site shows a “not accessible from your region” page, and Ontario players are served by the province’s regulated market, which this site does not cover.

Data verified on 24 September 2026.
