Boo Casino is the only brand in this batch of reviews licensed in Malta, which on paper puts it under one of the stricter European regulators. In practice, a Canadian player meets a site that quotes every bonus, limit and fee in euros. It reserves the right to take 15% from withdrawals of money not played through three times, even though its own FAQ says you will never be charged to withdraw. And its safety record on complaint sites is thin. None of that makes it a scam. It does mean you should read the rules before the first deposit. This review goes through them for Canadian players outside Ontario, using the operator’s current terms and conditions (March 2026), its bonus rules and the Malta regulator’s register.

Boo Casino review 2026: our take in brief

A big game lobby with a strict rulebook. Boo suits a player who deposits, plays through and cashes out in modest amounts. It does not suit anyone who wants to deposit and withdraw quickly, or who expects terms in Canadian dollars.

  • Works for: slot players who like frequent promotions and a regulated European operator
  • Does not work for: quick in-and-out deposits, big winners, players who want CAD terms
  • Watch closely: the 15% fee, the €15,000 monthly limit, and complaints about voided winnings
  • Scope: Canada outside Ontario

Is Boo Casino trustworthy? The license and the red flags

Licensed by a serious regulator, but with a complaint history that deserves a proper look before you deposit. On game fairness, the pages we saved do not link a separate testing certificate, so oversight rests with the Malta license.

What the Malta register confirms

Green Feather Online Limited, company C80735 in Msida, holds Malta Gaming Authority license MGA/B2C/445/2017, a B2C gaming service permit issued on 16 January 2019. The MGA’s online register lists it as “Licensed” and names the approved websites: boocasino.com and boocasino.co, plus sister brands Galactic Wins, bCasino and Mr Fortune. It also names eCOGRA as the approved dispute service. In August 2023 the MGA suspended this authorisation for missing regulatory reporting, according to the regulator’s notice and industry press at the time; the suspension was later lifted.

Complaint patterns

Casino Guru’s Safety Index for Boo has appeared between 4.9 and 6.0 in the listings we saw, which is the low-to-average band. Several complaints in its database concern confiscated or voided winnings. One player’s €70 free-spin win was cancelled at withdrawal (January 2025); other cases involve balances voided over “equal, zero or low margin” bets, and winnings removed after play without a bonus. AskGamblers gives the casino a CasinoRank of 7.3 and lists eight complaints, all resolved. Its player reviews dwell on delayed payouts, rejected requests without clear explanation, limited payout methods and support that is difficult to reach late in the day. The live chat hours players describe fit that last point.

The common thread is the rulebook. The terms give the operator room to void winnings for minimal-risk betting, charge fees on unplayed deposits and cap monthly payouts, and the complaints show those clauses are used. Knowing them in advance is the best protection.

Disputes

A complaint must reach the operator within six months. It answers within ten working days, with a possible ten more, and then issues a final “deadlock” letter. With that letter you can go to eCOGRA or to the MGA’s player support unit, which is a stronger route than most offshore regulators offer. Save every email and chat transcript before you start the process.

Canada is on the list of countries the site accepts at registration, and no province is excluded in the terms. The license is Maltese; no Canadian province has licensed Boo, and it has no iGaming Ontario registration, so nothing below should be read as an Ontario review; it applies to the other provinces and territories only. Your recourse in a dispute runs through Malta, which is a real advantage over sites that answer only to lighter regulators.

The terms set a minimum age of 18 or the legal age where you live, whichever is higher; in most provinces that means 19. Recreational winnings are normally tax-free in Canada, but check how your bank handles payments in euros.

Boo Casino welcome bonus: up to €1,000 and 150 spins

Only new players qualify for the Boo welcome bonus, which is paid across your first three deposits: up to €1,000 in bonus funds plus 150 free spins, one set of spins per deposit. The terms do not break down the match bonus percentage per deposit, and the site’s page metadata separately mentions “100% up to €500 + 50 Free Spins”, apparently for the first step. We could not find a CAD version of these figures; if your account runs in CAD, confirm the equivalent in the cashier.

ExpiryThe casino may expire bonuses 7 days after they are credited

What 40x on deposit plus bonus means

Unlike most offers in our reviews, the multiplier covers the deposit as well. If a €100 deposit brings a €100 match, you must wager 40 × €200, or €8,000, before bonus money converts to cash. At the €20 minimum deposit with a 100% match, the target is €1,600. Winnings are capped at €1,000 however the wagering goes, and a withdrawal of your own cash before the wagering is done cancels the bonus and any winnings from it.

The banned plays are worth listing. Boo enforces them: using bonus money only to trigger bonus rounds, equal or low-margin betting, bets above the maximum, switching from low-contribution to high-contribution games, and buying features. The contribution table itself was empty when we checked, so you cannot see in advance how each game counts. The headline amount would pass for a generous welcome bonus elsewhere; here, deposit-plus-bonus wagering, a win cap and 2024-dated terms make it hard work. Keep the bet size low: one slot spin above €4 during wagering can cost the winnings, and the Boo Casino welcome bonus is only credited if your balance is under €1 when you deposit.

Weekly Boo Casino offers, cashback and loyalty

This is Boo’s stronger side. The promotions page rotates often, and at the time of checking it included:

  • Extra Lucky Wednesdays: deposit €10, play with €17 plus 7 free spins (30x)
  • Weekly High Roller: a 100% deposit match up to €1,000 from €200, 40x
  • Cashback Express: 10% back up to €100 a day on selected live and crash games
  • Tournaments and prize drops run by game studios

The VIP program has five tiers, from Bronze to Black, and each tier raises the cashback rate; the site itself calls them VIP levels. Cashback over 30 days rises with status: 5% at Silver, 10% at Gold, 15% at Platinum and 20% at Black, capped at €5,000. Comp points accrue at one point per ten units wagered, except on no-deposit bonuses and free spins, and convert at 100 points to one unit of currency. Note that the High Roller page quotes a €4,000 cap while the withdrawal-limits page caps bonus winnings at €1,000; ask support which applies before you claim it.

Signing up and getting verified

Account registration takes a few minutes, but pick the currency with care: the terms treat each account as single-currency, so choose CAD if the form offers it. Enter personal details that match the documents you upload later, since you cannot sign up for an account under one name and verify it under another.

  1. Open the sign-up formFrom the Boo Casino home page
  2. Select CanadaIt is on the list of accepted countries
  3. Enter name, birth date and addressMatching the ID you will upload
  4. Pay in €20 or moreWith €1 or less in the account, so the welcome offer is credited
  5. Upload documents earlyUnder Upload Documents in your account

Verification needs a photo ID and a recent proof of address. The KYC page says a review may take up to 24 hours, while the FAQ speaks of 48; the general terms go further and allow the casino to post a letter to your address, phone you or ask about the source of your funds, with seven days to send what it requests.

Banking at Boo Casino: Interac, cards and e-wallets

For deposits and withdrawals alike, the cashier sits behind the login, which kept the full list of methods and their limits out of our view. The public pages list cards, e-wallets and bank transfers among the payment methods, with “over 20 methods” for deposits. Both the deposit and withdrawal dialogs carry the Interac trademark notice, and the withdrawal dialog asks for the email and phone number linked to your bank, which is what an Interac payout needs.

Method typeDepositWithdrawalTime after processing
InteracYesYesNot published
Debit and credit cardsYesYesUp to 4 business days
Bank transferYesYesUp to 4 business days
E-walletsYesYesInstant

In practice the withdrawal options are narrower than the table suggests: most payouts go out by bank transfer, whether Boo received your money by card, e-wallet or Interac. Every figure the site publishes is in euros; if you deposit in CAD, your bank or the casino converts the amounts.

Deposits, withdrawals and the fees to avoid

  1. Deposit: open the cashier, pick a method, enter at least the minimum and confirm; keep the balance at €1 or less before you make deposits if you want a bonus.
  2. Withdraw: once verified, request at least €20 from your real-money balance; an active bonus is forfeited if you withdraw before finishing its wagering.

The FAQ says withdrawals are processed within three days of verification, and the terms describe three working days as a target, not a promise. Then comes the method’s own time. Four rules matter more than speed:

  • Unplayed money fee: 15% (minimum €10) on withdrawals of funds not played through at least three times; minimal-risk bets can be excluded from the count
  • Monthly cap: winnings of €15,000 per 30 days by default; bigger requests are declined and must be split
  • Daily cap: €100,000 of winnings per day; anything above can be voided. Progressive jackpots are exempt from the limits but can take 14 extra days
  • Inactivity: after 12 months without login, an attempt to contact you and 30 more days of silence, €5 a month is deducted until you log in or the balance hits zero

Two examples make these rules concrete. Pay in €100, wager only €200 of it and then withdraw €80: the money has not been played through three times, so the 15% fee applies and €12 is deducted. Win €20,000 in one month and, under the default cap, €15,000 can be withdrawn in that 30-day period and the remaining €5,000 in the next one. Neither rule touches a player who wagers normally and cashes out modest amounts, but both catch people who treat the site like a wallet.

Casino game library: about 7,000 titles

Boo describes its catalogue as “over 5,000” games. When we counted the Canadian version through the operator’s own game list in September 2026, it returned 7,134 titles from roughly 50 studios, delivered through the Groove aggregation platform. Among them are Games Global, Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Nolimit City, Wazdan, Spinomenal, Amusnet, Betsoft, Kalamba, Endorphina, Skywind, Booming Games and Playson. That is a wide slot selection by any standard, and Boo also rotates studio tournaments and prize drops through it.

Table games and crash-style titles sit alongside the slots, and a Sports tab appears in the menu, although we did not review the betting side. Because the wagering-contribution page was empty, it is not clear how table games count toward a bonus, so keep bonus play on slots.

Live dealer games

The Canadian lobby held 44 live casino games when we counted them, with Pragmatic Play Live among the studios. Cashback Express returns 10% of losses, up to €100 a day, on Pragmatic Play Live tables on set weekdays, which makes it the promotion most relevant to table players.

Mobile devices and the Boo web app

“No app store. No download.” is how Boo describes its mobile app, which is added from the browser to your phone’s home screen. There is no bonus for installing it. Skip the install and the same mobile site runs in any mobile browser, so mobile play needs nothing more than a login. We did not test performance.

Support: live chat, email and their hours

Customer support at Boo works through live chat and email at [email protected], and the FAQ answers common questions on bonuses, verification and payouts. The withdrawal window advertises “Support 24/7”. The FAQ, though, warns that chat is sometimes closed, and players on AskGamblers report live chat hours of roughly 10am to 11:30pm, so email may be the only option late at night. There is no phone line. We found only an English (en-CA) version of the Canadian site.

Responsible gambling tools

Boo offers deposit limits along with wager and loss limits, each daily, weekly or monthly, plus reality-check reminders, time-outs and self-exclusion for anyone who wants to gamble less. Help links point to Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy; Canadian help lines are listed on our responsible gambling page.

Other casino reviews to consider

  • SpinEmpire — our top-ranked site, with terms in Canadian dollars: a four-deposit package worth up to C$3,000 plus 350 free spins, wagered 45x on the bonus alone, and cashback. Curaçao-licensed since 2025.
  • Lucky Hills — a similarly large catalogue, priced in CAD, with 40x on the bonus only but strict weekly withdrawal caps.
  • Jackpot City — a smaller range of games, but CAD terms, Interac deposits and 35x wagering on the bonus alone.

Lucky Dreams is another brand whose complaint record weighs on its score, so it is worth reading side by side. The complete list is in our ranking.

Boo Casino: the bottom line

Boo Casino has two genuine strengths. It holds a Malta license with a real dispute route, and it has a very large slot catalogue by the standards of online casinos in Canada, backed by frequent promotions and tiered cashback. Its weaknesses sit in the rules. Wagering covers deposit plus bonus, the welcome terms carry a 2024 date, unplayed deposits cost 15% to withdraw, monthly winnings are capped at €15,000, and the complaint record centres on voided winnings.

Play here if you intend to play through what you deposit and keep wins modest. Skip it if you want CAD terms or the freedom to cash out untouched deposits. Our rating method explains why trust and payments score lower than games.
