Canuck Casinos is free to read because we earn affiliate commission. This page explains, plainly, where the money comes from and how it affects what you see.
One partner: SpinEmpire
We have one commercial partner, the online casino SpinEmpire. Every “Claim Bonus”, “Sign up”, “Play” and “Visit” button on this site leads to SpinEmpire, including the buttons on our reviews of other casinos. If you open an account there through one of our links and play, SpinEmpire pays us a commission. You do not pay anything extra, and the offer you get is the same one SpinEmpire shows to everyone.
We do not link to the other casinos we review and we are not paid by them. If you want to join one of them, you will need to go to its site yourself.
How this affects the ranking
SpinEmpire always appears first in our lists, marked as Editor’s choice, because it is our partner. Its score out of 10 is calculated with the same six criteria as every other casino, and its review lists its weak points too. All other casinos are ordered by score alone. The method is on the How we rate page.
How our links work
Partner buttons go through short addresses on our site (starting with /go/) that redirect to SpinEmpire. The link tells SpinEmpire that the visit came from our site; it does not carry your name, e-mail or any other personal details. These links are marked as sponsored and open in a new tab.
What stays independent
- Facts in our reviews come from the operators’ own terms, regulator registers and complaint records, not from the partner
- Scores follow the same criteria for every brand, including SpinEmpire
- We point out the catches in every offer, the partner’s included
Gambling involves risk. You must be 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec), and the casinos we cover are not available in Ontario. Please read our responsible gambling page before you sign up anywhere.
